Membership Requirements
As described in our history of the “Brotherhood”, the qualifications are few and simple:
“…The qualifications for membership would simply be a profound love for children and a deep commitment to helping keep the traditions of Christmas alive throughout the world.”
Even though our history describes the founding of the “Brotherhood” by four gentlemen, their wives were also included, and so it remains today, our brotherhood includes gentlemen who portray Santa, ladies who portray Mrs. Claus as well as anyone who portrays an Elf or who is actively engaged in supporting our mission. In short, anyone who displays a profound and genuine love of children and is deeply committed to maintaining the traditions of Christmas is fully qualified for membership in The Brotherhood of the Direct Descendants of Santa.
If you meet these few qualifications, we welcome you to join us in the fun and fellowship that we enjoy. We want to share in your unique delight and experiences as you celebrate the Christmas spirit in your heart year round.
You are unique and important and you have a seat at the table.

Story of the BrotherhoodBy Santa Tom Irving Far, far away and a long time ago, Santa Claus decided he needed to move his toy shop. His decision was worrisome but Mrs. Claus agreed. He was becoming too well known for his extreme generosity every year at Christmas time and it was very hard for him to concentrate on his toy making. What with so many people stopping by the toy shop every day, he couldn't complete the toys he needed for the next year. He loved all of the little children that stopped by and wanted to spend time with them but he was finding it very difficult to complete his work. He also knew that more and more children were being born each year requiring more time to get this work finished in a timely manner for Christmas. Last Updated (Tuesday, 02 February 2010 01:11)
Why should I join?We are glad that you are considering membership in The Brotherhood of the Direct Descendants of Santa. There are two questions that you should ask yourself. The first is, "Why join any Santa Claus membership organization?" The second is, "Why should I join The Brotherhood of the Direct Descendants of Santa?" "Why join any Santa Claus Membership Organization?"The principle reason for joining a fraternal Santa organization is to share experiences with your brother Santas, Mrs. Claus', Elves and anyone seeking the Spirit of Christmas.
